I’m finding the Ernie Ball group IV’s to be an excellent well balanced flat. Use to love TI’s. But the EB’s bring something very special.

I’m one of those that like a J neck on a P. Albeit an AllParts neck, and the ‘71 body is heavily modified. It’s a fantastic bass and comes in around 8.5pds.

Wish I could be #3 on the wait list. But no way I can afford it. Someone will snatch it up.

I absolutely love my Fender amp. It should last quite a while since it was NOS stock.

Waaay different flavors between the 2 amps. And the SWR cab is a crap shoot. Depends on the model and if it’s been pushed hard.

If my Fender ever dropped dead on me. I’d get either one of these 2.

A question for @agedhorse. Are there any sonic/tonal differences between the original DI+and V2? Just asking out of curiosity. On a side note note, I dug out a pre-amp pedal I haven’t used since I have no need for it because of the new Mesa. I was curious how it compared. I did some A/B’ing...

Personally, i don't feel the need to add a compressor in a chain with the Mesa. It will do very mild compression, depending on how you set your gain, HPF, and boost. Of course all the other functions come into play as well. I'm not a fan of compression per say. But the Mesa is so responsive all...

I’ve got a lot of self control. I know what my priorities are. And one of them is no spending on any new gear. I’m grateful for what I have. And don’t need a boat load of gear.

Great price! I’d only be interested in the cab. But alas, not local and really have no need for it. Great cab though.

Ric finally upgraded their bridge in 2020/21. Not only is it mounted more stable, but the new design incorporates adjustable string spacing. They also went to a single truss rod system and the necks have a slimmer more comfortable profile.
