Oh yea, I think she'll fit. I'm at: 15.75" 9.50" 11.25" 46.00" The H22 is significantly longer than this H27, interesting. And no need to apologize about supporting GC... in today's economy, it's just the way it is unfortunately. Perhaps that is changing.

Hey thanks man, I just finished ordering a set of Standards. They're very close in gauge to the Lights, so I think I'll be alright. The Jamersons did me well with my Tele Bass, which was a beast, but yes, they were like having four aluminum baseball bats strung on to my bass.

Is there any chance you'd mind giving the dimensions of your bass case (can't find them online)? I'd like to measure up against my H27 before ordering the Casady case.

Thanks, I figured that would be the case with the length. Any suggestions on gauge for a Harmony H27? The Jamerson's seem like they might be a bit heavy...

From behind the bridge to just past the nut is 32"... and to the first tuning post is 34".

I'm more intrigued by the gauge than the length, to be honest.

DavyR! Thank you for that tip on the case. Unfortunately, I got a "nice gig bag" with my bass yesterday... and I don't like gig bags, so I was hoping to find a hardshell. (I believe the H27 body is a bit bigger than an H22, no?) In terms of strings, yes, absolutely looking to do flat wounds...

Just bought a Harmony h27 last night (yes, it's awesome). The strings that are on it now are regular strings which results in a a lot of treble when played via the bridge pickup (and even when using both pickups). Up til now, I've been playing a Jay Tercer Hofner copy with La Bella Jamerson...
