I've been playing guitar for 2 1/2 years and am thinking about picking up bass as a secound instrument. The thing is i have no idea what to look for in a bass or an amp. I want something decent, that won't break my wallet. Also i want an amp that can be heard in small gigs but under $300

I've been playing guitar for 2 1/2 years and am going to pick up bass as a second instrument. I have no idea what to look for in an amp or a bass guitar. I'll only be using it for practicing with a band, or playing in small gigs. Is a 90w amp big enough for this? And what are some good bass...
