I haven't played since 2013. I feel tapewound strings are a LOT easier on the finger without stripping the bass strings of a nice clean sound. I used tapewound strings on my Tobias deluxe iv back in 2013. I recently aquired a Dean edge1 from a friend. Made a bad decision of buying metal strings...
