Well I just could not resist. I just picked up this Shen SB90 from Steve Swan in Burlingame S.F. Steve is a great guy and and he set me up. He has a fantastic shop. It was tough after playing all of the basses he has to offer but for my budget the Shen SB90 was the best for me, plus it's blonde...

I may not take that drive. After reviewing some of the pics I can see that this (Romania) Upton is one big shoulder upper bout bass. I am small guy about 5'8" and I think it will not work for me. I asked the seller to send me some measurements but I have not heard back from him. :eyebrow:

Yes indeed. The Shen SB90 is at Steve Swans in the S.F. Bay area. Only trouble with the Upton is it's a 2.5 hour drive, but it's all doable. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the imported Upton's.

New here, I have my heart set on a Blonde upright and am considering the Shen SB90. I have also found someone selling their Upton SuperSwing, this is a 2003 and I just talked to Upton and they said it is a laminate that was built in Europe to there specs. Comes with the UB pickup, case, 2 bows...
