Seems neither of those have much gain to them. Something I really love about the peavey is how the gain knob at higher settings gets it to breakup exactly how I like.

Yeah I’d be down for a fender tone stack pedal (is there one tailored for bass?) and throw an mxr graph eq after it just like on the head.
