    Less is more... That advice is straight from an old comment by Kenny Gradney, bassist for Little Feat. Actually, his point was it's what you don't play that sometimes makes a good bass line.

    Wendell Groove Holmes kicking bass on “Misty” on his Hammond B3. Back in the ‘60’s this was a rare AM radio air play organ/jazz instrumental. I couldn’t get the riff out of my head.
