There's a epiphone eb1 on eBay for 600 something I've been eyeing that's like that takamine, except it's a viola/violin style which I like. I have a fretted epi Viola which I love. I just don't know if the wifey will let me spend a bunch on a new toy haha.

hi all... I want to play my fretless bass upright, and what I was wondering, is their something you can buy to place on the bottom (like a rod or something) that will make it upright? Or is there something I can use for that purpose? Thanks.
