    I'll check the phase of the coils. I am sure they are in phase. This is how it came from the factory.

    Magnet Polarity

    I have been reading a lot that in order to reduce noise in a Jazz bass, that the magnets need to be different polarities (ie one north and one south). Is this true also for N3 pickups? My American Deluxe V came with two pickups with the same polarity (south).
