Thanks for your help. I believe the dealer was annoyed because I was selling at half the price he was asking for a similar harness. He basically said it was fake but didn't specifically say why except for the writing on the cap being large and too prominent. I bought it in good faith but...

Thanks for that..I was trying to sell it on and I was contacted by a dealer from Italy who said it was fake. I'm simply trying to ensure it is genuine before advertising it again. I had it in my P bass and it was fine. I was able to buy a 1961 harness so the '63 is now surplus. Thanks again.

I think the " Sprague" may be a copy, but I would like to verify if the pots are guitar pots. They are CTS ( 137 63 36 ). 36th week of 1963. I hope someone out there knows about this.

I have two CTS pots 137 63 35 (35th week of 1963) There is another number on the pots 75013 114 which I assume is a part number? Can anyone tell me what this ? part number means / what part is it?

Excellent piece of information. I really appreciate your time. I will follow your advice about the strings, and since the lift is way less than 1/4inch I`ll not make any changes at this time. Once again I appreciate your help.

Can anyone tell me what causes tail lift? Must the bridge be replaced? Where can I buy a three screw replacement bridge? Is there a suitable alternative to the Ric bridge?
