    RHCP has a little Jam in the beginning of Can't Stop sometimes, I assume he means something similar. You could do that with your drummer.

    I considered doing that but its not easy to find this type of pickup in South Africa and importing things seems like too much of a struggle. So i think it would be easier for me to rather get the J pickups myself.

    Is it possible to make a double j humbucker, if I were to buy 2 jazz pickups (i dont plan to do it myself, I'm going to take it to a luthier). I want to install that into my p bass at the bridge, to get a similar sound to the Fender Blacktop Precision Bass.
