Yep I will most likely have to do so. I loosened both rods as far as I could go and then retightened in equal amounts. Back at square one lol. I will shim the neck lol. Thanks for the information.

It’s probably a result of the double rod not being correctly. I would guess I would have to loosen all the way and then tighten to my liking in equal amounts. Very annoying.

Yes, the saddle is bottomed out. Thanks for the information. What about filing the nut slot a bit? You could easily shim the neck. I am not seeing any twist. thought about same exact thing

Hi, I always use light gauge 95-40 for all my basses as I like less tension and a loose feel on the strings. I want to tune one of my basses to E Flat and want to know if I should keep the same gauge or go up one size. What are your thoughts?
