Where on earth is the ground on a diy pedal breadboard

Anywhere you want it to be. I would connect the - rails together and call that ground.

Launched my first Reverb store for selling... got any advice, tips, warnings?

    1) yes, I like this 2) I like to charge something for shipping; it lowers the hit from tax and fees 3) I feel like this discourages the sale; is a red flag that something might be wrong with the item. I prefer to be flexible with buyers and take the small chance they'll want to return. 4)...

Used market dead as a door nail?

I think we pioneered the $600 threshold. Sorry about that:(

Used market dead as a door nail?

the buying is easy; it's the selling that's hard

Used market dead as a door nail?

Being in MA, I believe the $600 threshold still applies to me.

Used market dead as a door nail?

It's been super slow past couple years. I'm glad I got most of my "R&D" done before. I thought it might have something to do with the more aggressive 1099 reporting requirements, causing a chilling effect as the average flipper doesn't want to have to explain themselves to the IRS every year...

    RIP Rodney McG

He was great, this is terrible. RIP.

Does anybody actually use cab sims? Why?

Especially useful if using distortion to control the bandwidth without too much in-band coloration, because the steep multi-pole HP & LP curves are hard to replicate with typical EQ.

    Walker Circuits Ronin and Tachi

It would be less difficult going 18 to 36 for sure, but still difficult. Circuit requires 100mA at 36V, so an 18 to 36 converter would still have to draw at least twice that, 200mA, and I haven't seen an off the shelf one that does. Needless to say, a 9 to 36 converter would require >400mA...

    Walker Circuits Ronin and Tachi

I hear you. I'm pretty happy with the 1590BB2, and maybe I'm not quite ready to push my layout skills any further to try and cram into a still smaller format. I certainly like the idea of being able to generate the 36V from 9V, but part of my design philosophy was to use as low impedance...

I did re-design the Odachi as well as the Tachi into a 1590BB2 size, but haven't ordered any in quantity yet. If you ever want to trade yours in for the smaller one let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Hello, I'm the builder. Sorry I've not been on TB as much and missed your question: The original Tachi pictured is a 1590XX 5.7" x 4.8". After those sold out, I took a little break from pedal building but have since redesigned the pedal into a 1590BB2 format, 4.7" x 3.7", same as Ronin. I've...
