That's pretty close to what I'd like to do. Update: So I found a shop that does custom pickguards and plates and he said he'd create and align them for me so that it looks fluid. It will take a few weeks to get in but I'll post the finished results once I'm all done!

Hey Matt, thanks for the reply! I've taken the pickguard off, and it's just a normal routed interior that just fits the two knobs plus the jack. It's pretty uniform, no weird channels (I don't have an image since I just screwed the pickguard back on). But the first link you posted looks...
