Great Prestige SR ! I’m still wondering why Ibanez chose to reuse the 4500 name. I have the original one from 2011 with upgraded Nordstrand Big Splits pickups and a passive tone control, making it something closer to the new 4505 you have.

Maple vs Wenge, roughly same stiffness and stability, different sound and response to playing attack. Wenge is more compressed, dark and growly. Maple sounds brighter with a more dynamic response, helped with the ash body. Quite complimentary. Love my Prestige Fujigen SRs.
