1970 german laminate 3/4,dominant mediums(put on this week),see if I get a year out of them,mex fender presision special,flat wounds..grew out of scratchy round wounds,far better on the blues than a wanna be stanley clarke,underwood pickup,fishman plat preamp,tu2 tuner,little mark 11 head,2 by 12" traveler mark bass cabs,bartolini active pickups on the fender

Previously Owned Gear

8 by 10" cab made by livesound a local company in Auckland NZ,better than ampeg,why?Looks just like the real thing but sounds better cause Johnny installs uprated eminence drivers,lighter,made of ply not construction wood,and handles all over it with two wooden skids on the back to save the tolex..So why did we part company?Miss spent youth on motorcycles catchin up,right knee shagged,not good shape for moving a vinyl fridge..Ran with a eden 550 head(60 lbs in a flight case) so that went too..Great classic sound,didnt have the fast response of the mark bass gear, but man it could move some air!

my mum taking me to a jazz gig as a pre schooler,she asked me which instrument I'd like to play,I pointed at the upright,god bless her,been playin electric bass since I was 18 and took up double bass two years ago,lovin it,forgot how to play the "slab",feels like a dinky toy
