hey guys, due to the rare offers of MTD US basses in germany i'm tinkering with the idea of having one built fitting my personal needs. so far i'm pretty shure about the woodcombination of a makore body with wenge neck/fingerboard, but i'm undecided regarding the top. in this regard...

I'm afraid same thing holds true for tonal subtleties you can control with a "31-band EQ". ......aslong as your not playing infront of a jazz audience ;)
