I presumed a larger diameter speaker provides more of a bottom end thump?

The 1x15 Will have a clean input. The effects I use remove a lot of bottom end. I was wondering if there is a way around having two separate heads. Not a waste fail, I have done it through two combos, it sounds incredible.
