    Genzler Amplification Club

I got the Magellan 800 out. It definitely has more clean headroom than the UK ABM600. I thought the svt212av was breaking up but, it was the abm. I do love the ashdown eq. That amp makes my jazz basses sing. The Magellan gives my darker, congested, high output stambaugh some clarity.

    Genzler Amplification Club

Love the opinions guys! I appreciate honesty. That’s how things improve. Damn, I love this site! I do find the 800 to have more headroom as well. This is the UK made ashdown and it really does sound better than the other models. Everything above the 12th fret has a more defined, thick and...

    Genzler Amplification Club

I’ve used a Magellan 8O0 since it came out(sometimes ran two at once) and owned most of the genzler cabs. Most of the genz Benz gear before that. I still own the 800 but recently have started using an Ashdown UK made ABM600. Great amp. I wanted a different sound for awhile after some many...

    Eminence Delta 10a-2

Using the program fdeck provided, these drivers look good in a small enclosure like the rumble 500 combo. Pretty flat down to around 50hz, tuning was about 58hz, total internal volume 2.6cuft. These are rough numbers from memory. A pair will handle a solid 270 watts. I’m not a fan of how the...

    Eminence Delta 10a-2

Nicer frequency response, for me anyway. Might be a good upgrade for a fender rumble 500 combo? I dont have a pc with a disk drive so, I can’t use my old eminence speaker cab software anymore.

    Eminence Delta 10a-2

This driver has been on the market for awhile, has great specs for bass cabs. I’ve seen no reviews on it, no comments. What’s up with that? Is everyone just confusing it with the standard delta 10-A? Eminence’s site is no fun to navigate anymore as well.

    Jazz pickup covers without holes

I’m going to be purchasing fender pure vintage 74’ pickups for my fender jazz plus. I prefer having the ups close to the strings and using a ramp. I’d like to try getting different pickup covers where the pole pieces are not exposed to reduce clack. I normally epoxy the tops of my pickups for...

    JHS Morning Glory Clean

I sent it back to JHS. They tested it and said it was perfect. I exchanged for a regular one as it has more guitar tonal options. I’m not the only one with this issue. I used it with a boss ls-2 for a true clean blend and you then need another pedal to invert the MGC’s signal to blend...

    JHS Morning Glory Clean

I really love the distorted side of the pedal. It’s fairly flat so, it blends with a clean sound better than some TS type overdrives that can sit on top of the clean side. I have a moonshine v2 where the clean side is rock solid with my relentless pickup almost touching the strings. If the...

Anyone know the string spacing? Thanks

    Charles Berthoud Signature Bass

Hey everybody. After being basically a P bass player my entire life, I decided to something totally different and order a schecter cb-4. If I keep it I already know that I’d swap the bridge for a Hipshot A style. Does anyone know what spacing I would have to order? I’ve read different reports...
