well hit me with some then :), also what should i do to it to sound more different if you know what i mean. Like i wanted to add a guitar pickup to do stuff like i said in my first post, but i also wanna have like a distinct bass tone as well for my songs.

I wanna add a guitar pickup to my fender jazz bass so i get one bass pickup and one guitar pickup on the same bass. idk if this would be bad sounding or just bad sounding in general. The sound I am going for is a distorted bass like royal blood or death from above. if you have any questions...
