    The Official Epiphone Accu-Bass Club

For all I can tell, the headstocks switched with the transition somewhere around the mid-90s, and where the regular Accu-Bass changed to the Accu-Bass Junior. That’s just from my cursory search, but I’m sure one of the fine folks here has a bit more information on the subject! 😁

    The Official Epiphone Accu-Bass Club

I've got my contribution to the club! Picked it up for about $150 from a goodwill auction, and when I pulled it apart the magnets on the pickups fell out. I don't think it's ever been actually played, just sat in the sun until it aged into this nice off-white. I swapped in some new EMG...

    Worst Bass Repair Mistakes?

I’ve learned by this point to keep every spare part just in case. The ghosts of past springs that jumped away haunt me still

    Bass Hardware

Looks like this one hasn't been answered in a bit (over a year! ;)),but I've never seen anyone offering any sort of redipping. If you really wanted, I suppose some sort of anodizing process might work, but that's more for aluminum parts. My advice? If you redip it and plan on playing it at all...

    Where to find vintage parts?

I wish I could, but living in the middle of nowhere means that the only musical things for miles are those target cat pianos and the occasional really nice guitar multieffects that I pick up.

    Worst Bass Repair Mistakes?

True, true, the classic natural look is nice. I'm a big sucker for the old 60s and 70s super saturated bursts, though.

    Where to find vintage parts?

Thanks everybody! My current basses are all ones that I've fixed up in some way or another, so I have a small parts log starting, but having more is always better, right? :D

    Where to find vintage parts?

Basically what it says in the title. I've been looking around for things like bulk bass parts to have a nice base of random parts when something needs fixed, but I'm slightly hindered by the fact that I can't find reasonable prices. Where do you all go for your specific parts or to get a random...

    Worst Bass Repair Mistakes?

I got it used off of facebook marketplace (where all good things go to die), so it's not my fault this time! I did buy it for dirt cheap, so I'm assuming it was either A: Stolen and I couldn't find anyone looking for it or B: Suffered some water spillage full of pure rusty goodness and messed...

    Worst Bass Repair Mistakes?

Hey, I'll take any mistake here! I've. . . had more than my fair share of both
