I've seen black OEM individual saddles on Amazon, but not personally used them so know nothing of durability or anything. You might be ok with the new bridge. It depends on the placement. Gonna be a lot of tension there with a lot of empty screw holes so if it was me, I would get longer...

I'll keep working on it. Maybe the tab just stiff from being new. I can see the positive of having the lock, but I run a wireless pack so that's never really an issue.

I'm having a hard time getting the cord out, maybe mine is just defective. Definitely can't do it one handed. I'm pressing in the tab before trying to remove.

Love my new BTB! DO NOT LIKE THE LOCKING OUTPUT JACK! Going to look into getting it replaced very quickly.

I love using this with my restrung Mikro. I was playing around with the Hammond organ effect and started playing the opening to 'Space Truckin' and it sounds awesome! Really cool effects.

Just FYI (and maybe everyone knows this..) but the 1836 has adjustable saddles up to 18 mm spacing. Just spreading some info.

@BobBass56 I ended up having to send my 706 back to Ibanez when I first got mine. The pickups were kinda doing the same thing as what you're describing. Unfortunately I'm not sure what they fixed, but I got it back in a week and a half working perfectly. My bass was still under warranty so...
