when you say harmonic pinches do you mean false harmonics? I think all the ones i was using in those vids are natural. Next time i'm planning to maybe mic up my amp so I can get a nicer harmonic tone, but to be totally honest my sound card sucks ass and it's so noisy so i don't think there's too...

surely if it's similar to a microphone then moving the strings closer to the pickups would increase the bass frequencies?

I used to find 1 21, 1 21.. easier, but after practicing 1 12, 1 12, until I nailed it i've found it alot easier to play fast disco lines
