Heh. Been screwing around playing my bass on a high stool today, (w/o the duct tape) that's why I was wondering. I don't think the neck is going to be a big problem for me. My bass has a jazz width neck. As for thickness/chunkiness... I've no idea. I actually have never touched a double bass...
