    Double Bass Best way to form calluses with out bleeding/pain

    Hi, so I've taken a bit of a hiatus from playing and my pizzicato hand calluses have gone away. Just wondering if anyone out there has good tips on how to get them back the least painful way, how to properly handle blisters, etc. Or do I have no choice but to play through the pain? Thanks

    hi, I recently lowered the action on my bass and now when I try to heighten it the knob it stuck, moving the bridge along with it. Im afraid to mess with it anymore as I don't want the bridge to fly off and wanted to ask for advice here. Thanks

    Well that's the thing is they are loose, rattle and are on backwards. I wasn't sure what would be more worth it - just having new ones put on or having someone adjust these

    Hi so I have a bass where I would like to replace the tuning pegs. They are all backwards and loose and rattle. I would probably see a luthier since I don't want to purchase the wrong ones online or something. Thanks for your help
