I mean the string vibrates when holding lower notes because they touch the bars ahead of them so therefore making the vibrating sound. I think I will get a new nut anyway because I bought the guitar used and it is very cheap, but not terrible but I think I will try and get this bass to its top...

the nut is too low so it vibrates :( that's what i get for buying a bass used haha

Just wondering what nut i should use as I am wanting to replace. What do you reccogmend? I have been looking at bone nuts but as I am new to this I am open for suggestions :)
