Influences and Teachers

The usual suspects for bass (Flea, Matt Freeman, Bootsy, Jaco, Cliff, Larry Graham, Tim C), but also a lot of electronica sounds and styles have influenced what I try to do with the talkbox (or squawk box, according to Conrad Uno), like early Kraftwerk, Bassnectar, and Pretty Lights.

Hobbies and Interests

Painting album covers (see the latest Mind Vice album), making booze from wild fruit (primarily blackberry wine), and mountain biking.
