It sounds full, with the filter maxed this bass has already has a midrange character that is usually achieved by backing down the filter pot to midway point 50 to 70 % of rotation and adding 6db Q switch. So basically I don't need to chase a burnished P Bass tone anymore with my filter on this...

Screw in strap extender for balance, and the peg head Triton is exactly like John's, but not added for strength like it was for his after a peghead break.

Alembic went to Mcvie's house and copied every aspect of his bass including wood recipe for my custom. Medium scale instead of short scale like John's. Also added screw 8n strap extender and did hammered gold plating instead of flat brass plates. Fat boys, filter, LED's, bass treble 5 pin for LED's.

Early pics

Picking up my custom Alembic MSB in the morning. 4 years and one month since ordering in 2022. It's also jokingly nicknamed the 'Holy Sh#t' bass; because when people see it that's how they'll respond.

Agree; the Roto 40-100 flats are just right. The Roto 105-45 is too stiff for me.

Man, I hope the GOAT himself see's this thread and chimes in. Stanley has always been a next level artist; what an incredible talent.
