I got a pc. By audio interface do you refer to a ' DI-box ' ? And how to connect all this to my pc ? Bass -> Di-box -> pc So no amp involved ?

I know it souns bad , thats why I want to improve my sound. Thats why I asked how to improve my quality. Obviously the person in the first video is using some sort of device to connect to his pc and then record and edit his bass.

Well I want to know what to buy in order to record well. I used the strings that came along with the bass , I recorded it with an Ipod nano 5g. I converted the file in an .avi file and put it on youtube.
