I’d heard somewhere that Sting used to play with a pick in the Police and then went fingerstyle later on and then had to relearn how to sing and play the Police bass parts. Anyone know of a good example of this?

I have a 35” scale Lakland 55-02 move been using the elixir extra long scale sets (usually have to buy a 4 string and an extra low string separate) but it looks like they don’t make them any more Anyone else out there run into this? What’s a good set of coated string that will work on my bass?
