My current TX RS2X12 cabs are 50 lbs each. Sounds a bit heavy but they feel like feathers compared to what I was dragging around before!

Kinda the same.. Swapped original neck with replacement SX neck, swapped pups for a set of Fender Super 55's and a Starr prewired with series/parallel switch. Bass is a beast now.

The Phase switch isn't 3 position but that should work for the pup selector.

Backwards as far as swamp ash anyway. The lower parts that grow in water are less dense than the upper.
