    What are some of the warmup bands at concerts that blew you away

    I had to look this up as my memory is failing but I saw James Gang open, Boston as the second act (their debut album just came out), and Foghat close at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, 1976. Boston was unknown when the tickets were purchased.

    How much can you really improve as an adult (30 and up)

    I took up the electric bass at 45 and the upright at 55. Practice and perseverance are the key. Finding the right teacher is also important.
