    Underrated bassist: Mike Mills

    When the band started in the early 1980's he played a Rickenbacker Bass, and he played another bass on their 1985-tour, don't know the name of it. You can check it out on YouTube if you search for R.E.M. 1985. I think he got the P. bass after they released the Out of Time album.
