    My fretless TF sounds awesome with Fender P pickups and D'Marzio in the J area. 3 way switch allows straight p, p/j and Jacob.

    Fretted and restless TF basses

    I own both bad each are different. Fretless, strong warm and punchy has a growl with tape wound strings. The fretted has a maple fretboard with Rotosound 66s strong and punchy. Love them both though would prefer a separate volume for each pickup. The basses are very versatile and play well.
