Well, I bought the Triple threats SP already, so I guess no sparkle for me. But I'm not sure I would like the sparkle anyway. I just want to sit well in the mix, just in the background.

yes, they really are pricey. Just not sure if the difference would be night and day(?), in practical terms. The natural finish looks awesome too. As of now, I'm happy with it anyway, but definitely thinking of an upgrade anytime soon... Thank you for the reply and for this thread!

literally bought this bass because of this thread! I got intrigued on the look of this SC Ibanez. When it arrived, it looks amazing and unique (atleast for me), without being too much of an attention grabber. For the sound, I'm not sure yet. To me, it sounds too boomy(?) and quite easily get...
