    Beginner bass (Part 2)

    After other suggestions, I narrowed the two basses I'm interested in for a good starter bass, the Squier Affinity P Bass and the Dean Edge 1. I was wondering what your thoughts about these 2 are, or if you have any other suggestions for a starting bass with a budget of about 200$, thanks!

    Beginner bass

    Thank you guys for all the responses, it seems ive got some of my terms wrong since I am very new to stringed instruments (I mainly play brass, but recently wanted to try a new type) I'm going to do some more research based off the recommendations you guys gave me, thanks for the help!

    I was looking for a good starter bass and have narrowed it down to two different ones, I was wondering if out of a mapple wood fretboard with a hardtail bridge or a rosewood fretboard with a tremolo bridge be better for a starter
