I may have had a bad unit. The Mini bucker I had was way too muddy in a lot of mid and low range tones. I tried different strings and even put in a 500k tone pot. I still couldn't coax a decent sound out of it.

I am aware the Factory is NOT a filtertron. I have already replaced the junk mini bucker with a filtertron. and if as you say they are the same thing then why the $75 price difference?
