I like the way you think... I'd say it would be possible; the double MM route would get rid of the bridge route completely(gauging from a pic), and I'd just make a simple pickguard to cover the neck route.

You can try adjusting the trim pot of the preamp inside of the control cavity for more gain while in active.

250K push/pull to replace the volume pot will do. 500K if you want a brighter sound(I prefer 250, plenty bright enough for me).

Definitely a nice catch! The switch is attached to a small PCB board. All you have to do is remove the solder, remove the old switch and replace it with the new one, resolder and you'll be good to go.

You'll need a 3 way dpdt on-off-on switch. I've replaced a couple already, and you just reminded me that I need to get on the wonky one in my amber 300. Congrats on your new ATK btw!

Honestly I was surprised by how good they sound in the Z7 fretless. I'm glad that I held onto the quad coils for both Zs, because they definitely sound better than how I remembered them being in the Super 4. I'll see if I can throw together a quick demo *soon ish*.
