Price can be a problem, but it's not the bigger one. Most of the pedals named in this thread are quite hard to find here, mostly because of taxes i should pay for extra EU shipment. Also, working in a music shop that deals with used gear, it's way easier for me to try things we can actually buy...

Blend knob is something i always look for, almost a must for me. That's one of the reasons why i was considering the Bass Soul Food. Darkglass pedals are awesome, but not something you buy "for science", just to try them. I'm waiting for one of those to show up in the shop where i work to do...
