I finally received Rhythm Deep today, playing it now, forgot how good it was....1989, whew, that went fast. Scott Ambush is a monster and I didn't know Victor Bailey passed. Victor's a monster here on track 8. RIP. Never did find this man that started this thread but fun anyways. Take care, mike

Thanks but no. I've got Omars Rhytm Deep cd coming in the mail, maybe it will come together. It's still got me wondering because it that good of a cd to me! I'll post when I know and share

Im remembering a white dude, it was a great cd but lost it...still thinking there's a connection to omar..wikipedia has list of bass players,100's of em and he didn't jump out on that either, still worth investigating!

Help! I can't think of his name...__Scott or Scott __...its not Scott Ambush...I think he played with Omar Hakim around time Omar's (great) Rhythm Deep came out...Omars Rhythm Deep reminds me of Scott's album, similar vibe, on a label like GRP...made in 90's, 2000's...variety of guest vocalist...

got interested in music during the disco days in jr high...i mowed lawns in '78 to buy a friends Sears electric guitar...played along with records and radio...bought a bass in about '88...gravitated from playing mostly guitar to mostly playing bass over the last 30 years...thanks for asking!
