    Thanks for the info. I ended up checking into a case with Gator and sent them size dimensions of my cass and they recommended: Gator Titan Series Waterproof Case - Standard Jazz and Precision Electric Basses I got it through Sweetwater and its a great case. Totally road worthy.

    Question for The Club. I have an 83 MVP that I am looking for a flight case for. Preferably one like Gator has TSA Series ATA Molded Polyethylene Guitar Case for Bass Guitars. Does anyone know if these cases fit the MVP? If not any suggestions for light weight flight case?
