I recently purchased a nearly new Sadowsky NYC bass that came with a gig bag similar to a Mono bag. Very solid and heavy. New I think it sold for $3500 to $4000. So even some high end basses no longer come with proper cases, it seems.

I had an issue with a Subway 800 moving about on top of the cabinet as it was so light, same with a Bergantino BI amp. Simple solution was to put Velcro on the cab and bottom of the amp (the Subway, the Berg has sturdier legs) Also, if there’s a handle on the side I wrap the guitar lead around...
