I have a bronco that I sort of converted into a mustang a few years ago. I still like it a lot, even if I don't use it very often. I stole the colorscheme from another person on Talkbass, but I don't remember their username right now.

Mine are a bit harder than the rest of my hand, but my whole hand is calloused as it it lol

I used to play in a cover band where the other guys were in their mid 40's (I was around 23). Worked out well. We all got along, just were playing for fun. They were good friends with one of the promoters in the area so we always got good shows too lol.

Personally I prefer neck through. It just "feels" better to me. Bolt on alway's seems "cheap" and "lazy" to me (even on my old stingray I wish it were neckthrough). While I don't think it makes any noticeable difference soundwise, it just seems like a higher quality and more complete instrument...

Blasko (from Ozzy Osbourne) has been playing a Squier mustang bass lately. I play one sometimes too, they are fun lol.

Honestly I prefer the 3b. I liked the Musicman, but its sound wasn't quite right for anything I was doing. It would sound good with new strings, but a week later I felt like it needed new ones again to get a sound I liked. I tried coated strings but they were more dead than the ones I was taking...

Once I get caught up on some bills a little better, if you still have them by then I would definitely be interested in those!

My mind always wanders. I remember even in middle school and high school band I would be thinking about whatever random thing. My guitarist always jokes that while I'm playing I'm just thinking of food and women. And he's not wrong :P It's never been detrimental or anything. Just like driving...

I think it is! Lol. I am still in love with it. It is my favorite bass that I have ever played!

I prefer heavier basses. Light ones just feel too "toy-like" for me.

Picked up a new bass recently. It is an 87 Charvel 3B. I've really been enjoying it. So far it has taken the spot of my "favorite bass"! Even though it has P/J pickups it sounds a lot more different from my other P/J bass than I was expecting. It reminds me a little bit of my dad's alembic...
