Just to clarify, I do not necessarily want to go active just for an onboard eq, I mainly want it for the hot sound and added punch it brings from being active. I an wanting to have the option for active/passive. That would be the way to go.

Yeaah, logic is not that good. In my opinion, and from experience all that it is really useful for us for making electronic music. It is good for that. I go to tafe and we have to use Logic and it really isn't that good for recording live music. Definitely does the job, but really complicated...
