I've been mostly playing guitar the past two years, so I've decided to part with my Lincoln. It was custom ordered by me and received in February 2023. The neck is absolutely killer, imo, but I'm more of a short scale player. I'll be keeping my Grand, so I'll still be hanging around the Serek...

    Pretty sure it’s 4mm.

I haven't played either, but I imagine they do balance different on average but also that the weight distributions of both models overlap enough that there's as much variance within a given model as there is between the two models. Jake's probably best positioned to answer this, because he's the...

Midwestern has 20 frets and MW2 has 21. MW is 30.5" only while the MW2 also offers 32". At one point I believe the default bridge on the MW was the Hipshot vintage bridge instead of the supertone, but the line art on the "Basses" menu on the new site shows the supertone on both so maybe that's...

The Midwestern is only available as 30.5" scale, but the MW2 is available as 30.5" and 32" versions. See the description here: Midwestern 2 - Serek Basses - Lightweight Short Scale Bass 4 and 5 string

I rewired my Grand to use a stacked tone/volume control. It's pretty easy to do and any reasonable tech should be able to set that up. Mine still uses the three way switch and now switches between fuzz/no tone control/tone control. The 32" Midwestern 2 has the bridge positioned further toward...

I don't believe Serek has ever made a 5-string Grand. The 4-string models use the Hipshot vintage-style 18mm bridge.

Serek has a comparison video using the same bass with each pickup:

I believe it's 18mm. The Grands use the Hipshot Vintage bridge: 4 String Vintage Bass Bridge

What color is that Armitage? I really dig the color/pick guard/fretboard combo on that one!

The Grands do have a clear finish on their necks as well. I have a Batch 4 Grand and it's definitely not bare wood. I also love the finish on it, and my maple Lincoln neck is pretty much the same.

SOLD Serek Grand (Special Edition #100) One of a kind Finish

The second batch of Grands and one of the previous auctioned one-offs had roasted maple fretboards:

Do you have a multimeter handy that you can use for continuity testing?

That's definitely not the case for my Lincoln. It's possible that the pickups are accidentally out of phase in parallel mode. Do you happen to have a photo of your wiring?
