Hi guys looking to rent a double bass while I am in LA for a workshop at CalArts from June 15-21st. Doesn't have to be a super nice bass maybe just a higher end student model like a shen. I am staying in Valencia so a luthier that is closer to there would be a plus! -Matt

I am a Jazz bassist suffering from this allergy. Spiros are my favorite string, and I have been looking for a steel string like this that doesn't contain nickel. I know that Tomasik claims that they are coming out with a nickel free belcanto string for bass just like they did for cello. Not sure...
