    Hi, Is there any way to tell whether the preamp + pots are original or fake? I've checked Link Removed to compare and it seems to be the same. It's a 2 band EQ ~2002 preamp. What do you think?

    Music Man Stingray Classic - grounding issue?

    I have exactly the same problem, but with my OLP Stingray copy. Although I hear the noise only when the tone knob is turned up (I can hear it from ~20%).
