ISP Beta Bass processor into Fdeck hi-pass filter (in back of rack) into a Crest proLite 3.0 power amp into a Avatar B212 loaded with Eminence Kapplite 3012LF's and an Eminence 6 1/2" sealed back mid with an Eminence 1.6hz crossover. Loud enough for just about any situation but still fairly compact.

I'm sure it's a killer head, but I have to agree, their retail price is ridiculous. Do they not understand that most working bassist will never hear this head because of it's WAY inflated price. Lost a lot of respect for Tech 21.

Just going on my experience, as I said, I used a 370 head with 2 301's for 5+ years on the road back in the 80's.

It's all been said on this site about the Crest CA series. They're heavy, they're big, but no solid state power amp sounds better for bass. I'll carry my CA9 around until I'm no longer physically able...then I'll get someone else to carry it for me. It's worth every pound.
