I just started learning slap and everything is going smoothly except the fact that every time I slap a string I hit the E. What are some good exercises to help improve accuracy. Also what are some good beginner slap songs that can help this issue.

I’m a relatively new player and am trying to play “I want you back”. I can pluck at the right speed but my fretting hand just can’t keep up. Are there any exercises to help speed this up or is it just me being new. Please help.

This does help a lot. Do you know of any exercises to speed up the movement at all?

I just got my first bass and unfortunately have relatively small hands. With my thumb resting on the top pickup I can’t consistently reach the g and d string. Is there a way I can shift down or something like that. Please help
