    Joni Mitchell, but only if she could shed her skin and put back on the one she was wearing when I first met her at 'The Old Post Office' in Topanga Canyon 50 years ago. Listening to one of her old cassette tapes right now.

    Your Sweetwater rep took you for a ride trying to make a sale. Pleking is solely for the leveling of frets, and not for the trimming of fret ends. You can purchase plek'd guitars all day and night that will still have fret sprout or rough edges.

    Diameter of Fender Jazz Bass knob shaft

    All modern American made Fender Basses are universal in their pot SHAFT dimensions. Solid shafts are always 1/4" in diameter, and split shafts are alway 6mm in diameter. I buy, sell, and repair guitars so I have a bit of experience.

    Modern Fender basses measurements are 1/4" for solid shafts, and 6mm for split shafts. In American made Fenders these dimensions are universal.
